We are now accepting merchandise vendors for the 2023 Charles River Jazz Festival! The 3rd Annual Charles River Jazz Festival will take place at Charles A Herter Park on Sunday July 16, 2023 from 12PM to 8PM.
We are expecting 3,000+ attendees to enjoy a full day of free live music in the park!

Spaces Are Available For:
Push Carts: Carts that are less than 10 feet in length
Standard Size: Businesses that can fit within a 10 x 10 foot space
Food Trucks: Food Trucks that are 16-28 feet in length

The space does not include tents, tables or chairs.

No electricity will be provided.
All vendor applications will be vetted BEFORE vendors are selected and finalized.

VENDOR ASSIGNMENTS
Charles River Jazz Festival will determine and assign the location of vendors on festival grounds. Special request will not be considered, unless for health related reasons.
TENTS AND EQUIPMENT
Vendors are required to bring their own tents. Vendors are allowed one (1) 10x10 tent, two (2) 6-8 foot tables, and three (3) folding chairs.
WEATHER POLICY
The Charles River Jazz Festival is an outdoor music festival and will proceed rain or shine. By applying for this event vendors accept all risk associated with adverse weather conditions.
REFUND POLICY

To receive a full refund, vendors are required to email crjfvendors@bostonjazzfoundation.org and cancel before noon (12:00 PM) on Friday May 5, 2023

No refunds will be issued after the deadline of May 5, 2023.

If the event is cancelled by force majeure, vendors may be given a credit to the next year's festival or receive a partial refund of 75% of their original payment.
HEALTH AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
Accepted food vendors are responsible for obtaining a valid health permit and all required licensing from the City of Boston Inspectional Services Department.
FOOD CHEFS AND COOKS
According to Massachusetts law, you are required to prepare and store your food at a commissary (commercial) kitchen. You will need to provide a signed letter from the commissary stating that they give you permission to use their kitchen. In addition, you must also be approved, vetted, and have a valid health permit (and any other necessary, updated licenses and permits) from the City of Boston Inspectional Services Department. No exceptions.
ACCEPTED APPLICANTS
Accepted applicants will be asked to submit up to three (3) images of their work and a link to either a social media page or website for advertising purposes. Images can be sent in jpg, jpeg, or png format upon request. Square images are preferred though not required.
Food vendors will be asked to provide copies of the following: License for restaurant where food is prepared for food truck, ServSafe Certificate, and Allergy Awareness Certificate
CRJF STATEMENT OF RIGHTS
The Charles River Jazz Festival producers, managers and promoters reserve the right to restrict or terminate any vendor’s activity or remove any product, which, in their opinion, is objectionable or inappropriate or is detrimental to the quality of the event as a whole. In the event of any restrictions or evictions, the Charles River Jazz Festival and its affiliates will not be liable for any refund of rental or other expenses. The Charles River Jazz Festival producers, managers and promoters reserve the right to remove, without refund or recourse, any exhibitor who misrepresents themself or their product. In addition, the producer reserves the right not to select vendors who may not be suitable for the market. The Charles River Jazz Festival reserves the right to amend or add to the applicable rules pertaining to and governing the Festival at any time during and before the operating season without notice. The interpretation of all the rules by the producers shall be final.
